About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 4 Teacher to join our supportive primary school in Richmond, Southwest London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator to make a positive impact on the academic and personal development of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 4 students, catering to diverse learning styles and needs
  • Assess student progress and provide timely and constructive feedback to support their growth and development
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation, motivation, and academic achievement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies, ensuring seamless transitions between classes and subjects
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and foster a sense of community and partnership
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Experience teaching in a primary school, preferably with experience in Year 4
  • Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and growth, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with best practices and research in education
