Job Title: Production and Logistics Assistant

Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions United Kingdom is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production and Logistics Assistant to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Process and ship parts requirements for Service activities in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist Logistics Operative with general goods in, goods out, and stock control.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch sales and service orders in accordance with ISO processes and procedures.
  • Receive, book in, inspect, and store components in a timely manner and in accordance with ISO processes and procedures.
  • Load and unload goods vehicles and move stock around the site in a safe and efficient way.
  • Liaise with transport companies and couriers.
  • Raise, issue, and complete Works Orders using the company ERP system in accordance with ISO processes and procedures.
  • Undertake checks and inspections on tools, machinery, PPE, and other items as required.
  • Advise Procurement Officer of any shortages and Operations Manager of any issues that could cause delays.
  • Maintain good communication in a co-operative and professional manner at all levels and with all departments within the company.
  • Understand and follow quality procedures relating to the position, including following all work procedures and work instructions.
  • Raise inaccuracies with procedures and suggest possible solutions where known.
  • Strive to improve quality and performance.
  • Keep the work area clean and tidy in line with 5S principles.
  • Ensure Company's Health & Safety, Security, Environmental, and Quality Strategies, Policies, and Objectives are adhered to and report any deficiencies to your Line Manager.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a logistics or production environment.
