Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing accounting functions, ensuring statutory compliance, and developing financial policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the finance department, including accounting functions, rent, and departmental developments
  • Ensure statutory and compliance obligations are met, including statutory accounting and tax issues
  • Develop and implement Finance Policies and Procedures
  • Plan and coordinate payments
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Produce Month end and Year End Accounts
  • Supervise and develop the finance team
  • Develop credit control strategies
  • Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient working capital
  • Handle grants and other funding, including restricted funds
  • Collaborate with the CEO to set budgets and financial goals and targets
  • Offer insights on the financial performance and health of the organization
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify cost reduction, revenue generating, and process improvement opportunities
  • Assist the CEO in developing financial and pricing models
  • Identify financial risks and propose mitigation measures
Requirements
  • Proven experience in financial management, preferably in a non-profit organization
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
