About the role

We are seeking an experienced and caring individual to join our team as a Radiology Healthcare Assistant in our Tunbridge Wells hospital. As a key member of the radiology department, you will provide vital support to our diagnostic imaging procedures, working closely with our administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.

Key responsibilities

Your duties will include providing assistance with a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including ultrasound, CT and MRI scans. You will also support the administrative staff within the department, helping to maintain records and ensure efficient patient flow. In addition, you will work with a variety of people, providing a caring and understanding service to our patients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need previous experience working in a healthcare setting, ideally with an NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care. You must be able to think on your feet, work well under pressure, and be a team player. A good level of IT literacy is also essential, as you will be required to assist with administrative tasks.
