About the Job

We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our client's team in Grimsby. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs, and modification work on a fleet of HGV vehicles and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including pre-MOT checks and repairs
  • Carry out technical work to the highest standards, adhering to strict health and safety requirements
  • Provide technical support and assistance to colleagues as needed
  • Undertake vehicle overhauls and other complex repairs

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid HGV licence (Class 1 desirable but not essential)
  • Be a fully qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ level 3
  • Have previous experience as an HGV Technician
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
