SystemsAccountants is seeking a highly skilled Finance Systems Specialist to join our team based in central London.
The role requires 2 days a week on-site and offers a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.
About the Role:The Finance Systems Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the SAP Business ByDesign system, ensuring it meets the business's financial needs.
Key responsibilities include managing access, maintenance, enhancements, upgrades, and implementing new functionality in SAP ByDesign, as well as providing expert-level support and leading project work involving systems and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure that finance systems are maintained and updated to meet business needs in SAP ByDesign.
- Act as an expert for ERP Systems, managing access, maintenance, enhancements, upgrades, and implementing new functionality as required.
- Provide up to 3rd line support in SAP ByDesign.
- Perform day-to-day administration tasks within SAP ByD.
- Lead project work involving systems and process improvements and implementations.
- Manage backend processes.
- Support finance system users with specialist knowledge and training.
- At least 2 years of experience working with SAP Business ByDesign.
- Proven ability to solve 1st and 2nd line ticket issues in SAP ByD.
- A strong understanding of finance principles.
- Experience managing relationships with 3rd party SAP support partners.
- Able to work on integrations with other systems.
- Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Concur would be beneficial.
- Backend developer skills in SQL or SAP HANA would be beneficial.
- An accounting background or qualification, such as AAT or a degree, would be beneficial but not required.
- Knowledge of other systems, including EPM and CRM.
