Key Responsibilities- Oversee credit control and collections across multiple entities with a high volume of live customer accounts.
- Follow the company's collection procedures to minimize bad debt and ensure timely invoice collections.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve customer queries efficiently.
- Keep a close eye on customer credit limits and spending.
- Set up new customer accounts and run credit reports as needed.
- Produce reports on overdue accounts to make collection calls and suspend deliveries.
- Follow company procedures for high-risk customers, changes in ownership, business closures, and liquidation/administration.
- Assist in initiating legal proceedings when necessary.
- Provide ad-hoc accounts admin support.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes.
As a Credit Controller, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the growth and success of our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that our financial operations are running smoothly and efficiently, and that our customers are satisfied with our services.
You will have the opportunity to work with a range of financial systems and tools, including Sage 200, and to develop your skills and expertise in credit control and financial operations. We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
Requirements- 1 year of experience in credit control or a related field.
