Job Title: Senior Contract Supervisor

The Senior Contract Supervisor will be the Trust lead and subject matter expert relating to our contracts for healthcare provision and leading the day-to-day relationship with key commissioning members.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Trust's contract portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and optimal financial performance.
  • Oversee the work of the Contract Team, with responsibilities for NHS England contracts, other commissioner contracts, and Provider to Provider contracts.
  • Coordinate the process to resolve all contract queries and disputes with commissioners and ensure a prompt and fair settlement is received.
  • Assess the impact of emerging local, regional, and national strategic contracts issues on the Trust and work with colleagues and partner organisations to coordinate and implement local strategies and policies.
  • Oversee the management of Service Level Agreements for services relating to patient care, including contractual agreements for the supply or receipt of services from other NHS organisations and non-NHS healthcare providers.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
  • Educated to a Masters degree level in a relevant subject or evidence of similar level of knowledge and experience.
  • Evidence of continued professional development and knowledge acquired through Professional Accountancy Qualification or equivalent further specialist training and experience.
  • Qualified Managing Successful Programmes.
