Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Paediatric Nurse Specialist to join our team at Cromwell Hospital in London. As a Paediatric Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized quality patient care.
- Ensure nursing practice is of the highest standard in line with Cromwell Hospital Policies, CQC requirements, and NMC standards.
- Respect people's rights to privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure appropriate care is provided.
- Participate in team and ward meetings.
- Supply and administer medication safely in line with hospital policy.
- Assess and support patients with their adherence and understanding of their medication.
- Be responsible for and demonstrate personal professional development, maintain up-to-date clinical skills, and ensure mandatory training is always current.
- Keep clear and accurate records, following NMC standards of documentation.
Requirements:
- NMC Registration.
- NMC Registered – Registered Children's Nurse.
- Post-registration experience.
- Ability to work well both in a team and to use your own initiative.
- Ability to maintain professional communication.
- Ability to complete drug calculations.
