  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized quality patient care.
  • Ensure nursing practice is of the highest standard in line with Cromwell Hospital Policies, CQC requirements, and NMC standards.
  • Respect people's rights to privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure appropriate care is provided.
  • Participate in team and ward meetings.
  • Supply and administer medication safely in line with hospital policy.
  • Assess and support patients with their adherence and understanding of their medication.
  • Be responsible for and demonstrate personal professional development, maintain up-to-date clinical skills, and ensure mandatory training is always current.
  • Keep clear and accurate records, following NMC standards of documentation.

Requirements:

  • NMC Registration.
  • NMC Registered – Registered Children's Nurse.
  • Post-registration experience.
  • Ability to work well both in a team and to use your own initiative.
  • Ability to maintain professional communication.
  • Ability to complete drug calculations.
