Job Summary:

Boston Hale is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in driving business growth by leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Present findings and insights to clients through various presentation opportunities, ensuring reliable and effective communication.
  • Team Operations:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a holistic understanding of data, driving business outcomes.
    • Manage a team of analysts, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure career development and workload management.
  • Audience Discovery & Strategy:
    • Analyze and define audience segments using multiple data sources, driving strategic decisions.
    • Manage data analysis and insight generation, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
    • Employ a deep understanding of audience data sources and leverage them effectively for analysis.
  • Measurement & Reporting:
    • Develop and implement measurement strategies, frameworks, and technology to drive business outcomes.
    • Set benchmarks and targets based on historical campaign data, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Oversee and QA the development of reports, directing optimization initiatives to drive business growth.
    • Hone the ability to identify and develop insights for campaigns, driving strategic decisions.
    • Manage data technology utilization, automating processes for efficiency and improving data management.
    • Be accountable for data system maintenance and QA, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
    • Develop advanced dashboards in visualization tools, driving business outcomes through data-driven insights.
    • Apply advanced understanding of Ad Operations and QA procedures, ensuring seamless execution.
    • Evaluate and compare data, ad, and MarTech vendors, driving business growth through informed decisions.
  • Qualifications & Expertise:
    • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Information Management, Social Sciences, or Business/Marketing related fields (advanced degree preferred).
    • 4-5 years of experience in a quantitative data-driven field.
    • Passion for digital marketing, research, and analytics.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work well with others and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to manage and prioritize concurrent tasks.
    • Ability to clearly explain complex technical ideas to multiple audiences.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of ad technologies and research techniques.
    • Ability to move beyond descriptive analytics and employ sophisticated techniques (predictive & prescriptive analytics).
    • Ability to set individual goals for analysts and measure individual success/performance.
    • Experience with SAS, SPSS, R, or other advanced analytics software packages.
    • Experience with ad-serving and web analytics tools.
    • Experience with database design and SQL.
    • Experience with syndicated research sources/tools.
    • Experience with digital ad effectiveness research.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and a data visualization tool (Tableau).
