We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Environmental Manager to lead our conservation projects and manage a team of environmental consultants.

About the Role

As a Senior Environmental Manager, you will be responsible for delivering complex environmental conservation projects and overseeing the work of a team of junior consultants.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Motivating and managing a team of environmental consultants to ensure high performance and client satisfaction.
  • Overseeing and signing off on major projects, including contaminated land assessments, flood risk management, and environmental sampling.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice and ensuring their needs are met with precision and care.
  • Leading fieldwork activities, including soil logging, environmental sampling, and spill response coordination.
  • Collaborating with the Compliance Manager to uphold ISO and environmental standards within our Integrated Management System.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline, such as Environmental Science, Geology, or Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in contaminated land management, site investigations, and environmental assessments.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • A proven track record in managing complex environmental projects from inception to completion.
  • A full UK driving licence and the willingness to travel for site-based projects.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary between £45,000 - £55,000, hybrid working, a pool car, and a pension contribution.
