About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Strategic Operations Director - Renewable Energy to join our team at the UK East Coast Hub. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a small team of Directors and Senior Managers responsible for the day-to-day management of our assets. You will be accountable for full P&L performance over the asset lifecycle and will work closely with the Head of Far Shore and senior leadership colleagues across Commercial, Engineering, HV& Transmission, Site Support, and Transformation functions.

The successful candidate will have extensive leadership, performance management, and line management experience. They will also possess commercial acumen and a depth of understanding of the prevailing market dynamics. This individual will play a key role in shaping the future of our company by driving continuous improvement and increasing value (EBITDA/NPV basis) through the development and execution of long-term business case performance reviews across the UK East Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the long-term far-shore asset strategy
  • Lead and develop a team of Directors and Managers responsible for the day-to-day management of our assets
  • Support all commercial elements of business transformation towards enhanced operational efficiency, reduced cost, increased revenue, and best-in-class safety management
  • Facilitate long-term business case performance reviews across the UK East Region to drive continuous improvement and increase value (EBITDA/NPV basis)

This role requires extensive travel, approximately 15-20%, to account for visits and meetings at various locations including the UK East Coast Hub, Gunfleet Sands, London, Gentofte, and Barrow.
