Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking an Industrial Machinery Technician to join our team in the Milton Keynes area. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for finding, diagnosing, and rectifying faults, as well as undertaking preventative maintenance on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
You will work with a variety of vehicles, including small pallet trucks, IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks. To be successful in this role, you will need experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or hydraulics. Ideally, you will have an NVQ level 3 qualification, although this is not essential.
You must be IT literate and able to use the latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders. A full UK driving licence is also required.
The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and take pride in their work. They will also have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, a positive attitude, and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
