Property Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our team at Jobheron. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the property maintenance industry and be proficient in various carpentry and joinery techniques.
The ideal candidate will be able to read and write English to a high standard, have a full UK driving licence, and be a good team member. They will also be able to quickly assess the most efficient way to carry out work while maintaining high standards.
The role will involve a range of tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, and tiling, as well as sourcing and installing parts and managing van stock. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be committed to providing excellent customer service.
As a Property Maintenance Technician at Jobheron, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plumbing: Fitting bathroom suites, changing taps, repairing toilets
- Finding and tracing leaks
- Patching and boarding to repair leak damage
- Installing bathroom cladding
- Carpentry & joinery: Fitting doors, stud work, floor joists, floorboards
- Basic tiling and grouting
- Sourcing and installing parts/managing van stock for future jobs
- Repairing locks, doors, windows and converting euro locks
- Attending to heating issues and being able to relay helpful information to further engineers
- Simple drainage issues (specialist subcontractors used if appropriate)
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in various carpentry and joinery techniques
- Plastering - be competent in patching plaster; more would be beneficial but not expected
- Up-to-date relevant industry-related knowledge
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
- Ability to quickly assess the most efficient way to carry out work while maintaining high standards
- Be able to read and write English to a high standard
- A full UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Be a good team member
