We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Multilingual Education Support Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with students who are passionate about languages, particularly Spanish. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with students in both English and Spanish, inspiring them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide academic support to students studying Spanish at GCSE and A-level, including guiding them through independent research projects and assisting with exam preparation.
  • To create engaging resources and displays for all year groups, promoting cultural understanding and appreciation of the Spanish language.
  • To assist with organizing and administering school trips, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for students.
Requirements:
  • Fluent or near-fluent language skills in Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with students in both English and Spanish.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations, with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £23,280 per annum, plus a range of benefits including contributory pension scheme, life cover, and complimentary lunch.

In addition, employees can enjoy subsidised gym membership, healthy heart checks, and access to books, magazines, and DVDs from the College Library.

This is a 40-hour per week position, with additional Saturdays worked for Open Mornings, admissions, and weekend duty, as well as attending school trips.

The role will be based in Brighton, BN2 0AL.
