The Role


We are seeking an experienced Senior DSEAR Engineer to join our team, supporting our engineering teams with a vital function on Transformational Programmes. As a DSEAR expert, you will play a critical role in managing technical design work, preparing briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.


Your Responsibilities



  • Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes.
  • Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with teams across the UK to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

What You Will Bring



  • Chartered Engineer.
  • Experience of the role of DSEAR in design delivery, ideally within the water industry or a related process industry.
  • Sound technical knowledge of the application of DSEAR, including risk assessment and area classification in accordance with EN 60079-10 and IP 15.
  • Strong understanding of ATEX legislation as well as CDM.

What We Offer


A competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications, plus benefits such as 25 days' leave, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional development.
