Job Title: Field Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Field Engineer to join our team at Edenhale. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for the on-site installation and configuration of customer solutions, including Voice and WAN/SDWAN Solutions, at customer premises and data centre locations across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install and configure customer solutions at various locations across the UK.
  2. Perform site audits and wireless surveys/design.
  3. Co-op diagnostics from remote customer sites to assist with resolving complex faults.
  4. Provide out-of-hours on-call assistance to customers and provide on-site support and replacement of hardware as needed.
  5. Maintain accurate records of equipment and perform regular reviews and audits of existing records.
  6. Perform technical support and collate further information where required to pass onto senior stakeholders.
  7. Manage work threads to SLA, working alongside other teams to exceed customer expectations.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent team player with a proactive mindset and a passion for working together to achieve goals.
  2. Hands-on experience of implementation and support of various software and hardware peripherals, such as UCaaS, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  3. Hands-on experience of installation and configuration of UCaaS solutions.
  4. Experience in structured cabling and wireless surveys.
  5. Great customer skills - able to adapt to differing customer groups with ease and provide a first-class customer experience at all times.
