Test Operations Support Specialist

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a skilled Test Operations Support Engineer to join their team in Portsmouth. As a key member of the Assembly Integration and Test team, you will be responsible for supervising test execution activities within the payload AIT facility.
You will provide first-line support across all test phases and projects, offering test engineering and process support to shop floor operations. Your focus will be on driving continuous improvements and reducing non-quality in electrical and RF test operations.
Your Key Responsibilities- Ensure test safety measures and procedures are adhered to during payload testing, including DC safety and high-power RF safety.
- Conduct a standard handover to the next Test Operations Support engineer, ensuring key messages are understood, and follow up with an email.
- Ensure all tasks are completed to the correct quality level, and any issues are escalated to operations management.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Electrical and/or RF engineering skills.
- Experience in electrical test environments.
- A minimum HND level or equivalent industry experience in electrical/electronic disciplines, electrical test engineering, or RF & Communications.
- Strong electrical/RF test measurement experience.
- Presentation skills, including clear and concise presentation of project status to peers, managers, and internal customers.
- Delivering feedback, including positive and constructive feedback to local teams.
