Senior Professional Indemnity Underwriter

We are partnering with a world-leading insurance company to find a talented Professional Indemnity Underwriter.
This company is renowned for providing innovative insurance solutions and insuring risks that others can't.
This role has arisen due to the promotion of a Senior Underwriter into a technical line manager position, demonstrating the impressive career progression available within the company.
As a member of the renewals team in the Financial Lines Division, you'll work with a variety of Professional and Management risks, including Cyber and Technology risks.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Underwriting large and complex renewal cases
- Collaborating with the Claims team
- Developing and maintaining relationships with the Technical department and the wider business
- Providing excellent service to brokers, prioritizing renewals and mid-term adjustments
- Involvement in interesting ad hoc projects
You'll need strong experience in Financial Lines underwriting, including Professional liability, and ideally some Cyber and Management risks. Excellent written and spoken communication skills are essential, as well as a good track record in building relationships.
The company operates a hybrid-working arrangement, allowing you to work from home 2 days a week. You'll be part of a friendly, supportive, and collaborative environment with plenty of sports and social events.
