Key Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate professional to join our team as an SEN Teaching Assistant in Greenwich. As a dedicated individual, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to develop effective strategies for supporting students with Special Educational Needs.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Psychology Graduate from a Top UK University looking to gain valuable experience and build their skills in working with children and young people with SEN.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong passion for providing high-quality education and care for students with SEN.

Responsibilities:

  • Work one-to-one with SEN students, providing emotional and mental support throughout the academic year.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with SEN.

A minimum of a 2:1 degree in Psychology from a Top 20 UK University is required, along with good GCSE and A-Level results. Previous experience of working with children or individuals with SEN is desirable but not essential.

Competitive Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
