Senior Clinical Physiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated clinical physiologist to join our team at Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital. The successful candidate will have expertise in electrophysiology and cardiac rhythm management, with a strong focus on device management and implantation.
This role involves a combination of invasive procedures, including electrophysiology and cardiac rhythm management, as well as analysing cardiac monitors. We are looking for a skilled physiologist with a passion for arrhythmia management and a strong desire to increase their knowledge and exposure within device management and implantation.
As a member of our cath lab team, the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate maturity and experience consistent with this grade, contributing fully to the improvement and advancement of the service. Key responsibilities include bringing advanced clinical arrhythmia skills to Spire Hull and East Riding, with a focus on cardiac devices, invasive procedures, and electrophysiology.

The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent, immediate life support certification, and IBHRE/BHRS exam qualifications in devices and electrophysiology, or be working towards these. They will also be registered with the RCCP and have experience in non-invasive cardiology procedures, including ECG, holters, and implant and follow-up of devices.
