About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of General Assistant at Sanctuary Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional cleaning and domestic services to our students, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality cleaning services to premises, including kitchens, bedrooms, and communal areas.
  • Prepare rooms for vacation guests, including clearing, cleaning, and bedmaking.
  • Provide a friendly and approachable presence on site, ready to assist students with any queries or concerns.
  • Identify and report any hazards or faults to maintain a safe environment.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning stock and inform the team leader of any low stock levels.
  • Complete scheduled tasks and programs across the site.

Requirements:

  • Previous general cleaning or housekeeping experience is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Previous experience of working to deadlines and prioritizing workloads.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning machinery and equipment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
  • Basic understanding of written instructions and simple log maintenance.
  • Some basic computer skills, with the ability to complete online training.
