Audit and Accounts Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts Assistant Manager to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for leading audit services from planning to completion, managing a diverse client portfolio, and building long-term relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage audit services from planning to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Lead the preparation of statutory accounts for various clients, maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
- Supervise staff and workflow, providing guidance and support to junior team members.
- Prepare management accounts and financial statements, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Review VAT returns, rental accounts, and tax computations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide business set up services and ad hoc client queries, demonstrating expertise and professionalism.
- Offer detailed analysis for client meetings, presenting findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
- Coach the junior team and nurture client relationships, fostering a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to business development, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.

- Salary: £48,000 - £50,000 per annum
