A dedicated Commercial Finance Analyst is needed to provide key financial insights and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.

Our client is a leading player in the engineering sector in West Oxfordshire, offering a hybrid working pattern with offices a short drive from Witney.
They are recognized for their commitment to innovation and sustainability, operating globally, and providing top-tier services to a diverse range of clients.
Key Responsibilities- Support the commercial finance function for a specific division, working closely with two Finance Business Partners.
- Provide reporting, analysis, and challenging the management team to drive performance and adherence to processes.
- Support team in delivery of accurate set of accounts for the division, with details explanations of any material variance to forecast.
- Business partnering support for a specific business unit.
- Analyse financial data to and trends to identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepare finance reports and summarises.
- Conduct variance analysis on expenditure, ensuring budgeted levels are maintained.
- Ensure compliance with financial processes across the division.
- Analysis of credit card spend, seeking to improve compliance and reduce spending.
- Producing reports to ensure robust financial management of large projects.
- Working closely with credit control and key stakeholders on aged debtors.
- A good general knowledge of accounting with a minimum of 3 years' experience in similar role.
- Part qualified CIMA/ACCA or similar - study support can be offered.
- UK driving license.
- Competent use of Microsoft office software, advance excel user.
- Ability to influence strategic decisions with financial insights.
- Ability to form strong relations outside of finance team, and manage upwards.
- A competitive salary in the range of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent upon experience and qualification.
