Job Summary:

This role is responsible for supporting both Hastings customers and other affected parties when an accident is not their fault. The ideal candidate will provide vehicle repair and car hire solutions to the non-fault party, and offer an excellent customer experience that demonstrates Hastings' market-leading customer service.

About the Role:

As a Hire Monitor Claims handler, you will learn basic legal liability and insurance indemnity outcomes, and how to value and negotiate customer losses to ensure the claims costs are kept to a minimum. This will involve servicing inbound calls and making outbound calls to customers, providing a professional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide vehicle repair and car hire solutions to non-fault parties.
  • Offer an excellent customer experience.
  • Learn and apply basic legal liability and insurance indemnity outcomes.
  • Value and negotiate customer losses to minimize claims costs.
  • Servicing inbound calls and making outbound calls to customers.

Requirements:
  • Ability to objection handle and demonstrate resilience.
  • Proven ability to problem solve and remove blockages.
  • Effective customer complaint handling skills.
  • Committed to self-development and a team environment.
  • Experience in the motor insurance industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and stakeholder management.
