Manufacturing Process Engineer Opportunity

Travail Employment Group is seeking a talented Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team in Knaresborough. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assessing machinery and chemical processes to identify opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to resolve manufacturing issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support operational improvement projects, including lean initiatives and process flow improvements
  • Assist with new product introduction and ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are in place
  • Undertake time and motion studies and work with maintenance and production teams to improve efficiency
  • Practical problem-solving, root cause analysis, and rectification
  • Undertake projects to improve output and quality on existing production lines
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in manufacturing or chemical engineering
  • Understanding of modern techniques and systems in manufacturing improvement
  • Experience of manufacturing control systems and associated data fields
  • Good understanding of problem-solving techniques such as 8D
  • Confident trainer and able to communicate at all levels
  • Able to influence change
