As a Despatch/Warehouse Operative at MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and despatch functions. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers, and we are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Despatch/Warehouse Operative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing and actioning daily picks for both raw material and finished goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Preparing, packing, and despatching customer orders, including the preparation of regulatory transport documentation.
  • Assisting the Goods-in-Co-ordinator with the receipt of inbound stock, including offloading and putting away of palletised deliveries.
  • Loading outbound goods onto transport vehicles, reviewing and checking load and packing lists to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborating with the Transport Logistics team to ensure the smooth movement of inbound and outbound freight.
  • Participating in stocktaking activities and ensuring that hazardous materials are handled and stored in line with regulations.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment, adhering to company health and safety procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Valid Forklift Truck and relevant MHE licenses.
  • Knowledge of warehouse systems and Health and Safety at Work practices.
  • Good general IT skills and effective communication skills.
