ESG Compliance Specialist

A leading Wealth & Asset Management business is seeking an ESG Compliance Specialist to join their growing Compliance function in a newly created role. This position will be an initial 18-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in ESG and be comfortable working closely with the front office as they expand their ESG offering.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide advice and guidance to the business on ESG regulations.
  • Identify new ESG regulatory developments relevant to the business and communicate these findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop internal policies and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain key relationships across the business and external parties with regard to ESG.
  • Develop training on ESG.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years ESG experience working within a fund management business, ideally from within Compliance or a similarly focused department.
  • Excellent understanding of ESG regulations, including SDR and SFDR.
  • Knowledge of funds, UCITS, and AIFS, preferable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
