Physiotherapist - Neurology and Stroke Rehabilitation

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and autonomous Physiotherapist to join our Community Integrated Neurology and Stroke Service (CINSS) team. As a Band 6 Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for managing a caseload in a busy and developing environment, working closely with a specialist MDT comprising of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Dieticians, a Neuropsychologist, a Rehabilitation Consultant, and Generic Rehabilitation Technical Instructors.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver effective healthcare within the organisation, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Establish effective leadership and communication, working collaboratively with the team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Undertake the Trust's corporate and local induction, and maintain your learning and compliance with training requirements for your role.
- Participate in supervision via agreed review and appraisal mechanisms, actively contributing to the development and improvement of the service.
- Manage your caseload autonomously, working without direct supervision, with access to advice and support from a Band 7 as required.
- Contribute to the supervision, education, and assessment of the performance of PT students in accordance with University standards.
- Take responsibility for the clinical supervision of less experienced physiotherapy staff and PT/generic assistants working with the post holder.
- Participate in audit and research projects to further own and team's clinical practice.
