Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at MTC Operations Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily preventative and breakdown maintenance activities on plant and equipment, as well as carrying out electrical installations and commissioning and decommissioning of equipment and plant.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily preventative and breakdown maintenance activities on plant and equipment
  • Carry out electrical installations, such as new electrical connections for plant and machinery
  • Commission and decommission equipment and plant
  • Work alongside external contractors to ensure machine and facility repairs, renewals and maintenance are carried out in respect to MTC instruction and standards
  • Review external contractors health and safety documentation prior to work commencing on site
  • Ensure high standards of housekeeping, work quality and work attitude
  • Installation of equipment & facility plant on all MTC sites
  • Carry out fault diagnosis and problem solving on equipment and facility plant

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role
  • L3 qualification in electrical installation, such as C&G L3 2360 or 2365 or equivalent
  • Level 3 inspection and testing C&G 2391 or equivalent
  • 18th edition wiring regulations
  • Ability to work at height
  • Full UK driver's license is essential to the role
