Job Summary

The Mechanical Systems Operator will be responsible for timely equipment delivery as per operational requirements.

To improve the division's assets' maintenance-related non-productive time ratio within the Maintenance Base (MB) and enhance overall maintenance efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Maintain assigned equipment according to relevant maintenance programs and comply with reliability-centered maintenance strategies through adherence to the Computerized Maintenance Management System and standard work.
  • Adhere to transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems to record materials and supplies, labor costs, and equipment maintenance performance history such as movements, work orders, parts used, and time to maintain.
  • Comply with Division TLM standards.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement culture, initiatives, and improvement plans within the MB to enhance asset utilization and cost of service delivery (CoSD).
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to boost asset turnaround time, which includes minimizing downtime caused by maintenance, parts, and return authorization numbers, failures, and work-in-process.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians.
  • Implement CoSD projects, such as the planned repair and reuse of parts.
  • Participate in failure investigations as assigned.
  • Comply with the TLM Competency Management System.

Estimated salary £55,000 - £70,000 based on experience.

Essential Requirements
  • Possess a Technical Diploma (HND/HNC level).
  • Have experience working with wireline units, stimulation pumps, coiled tubing equipment.
  • Be available for short-term off-shore assignments on an ad-hoc basis, as per Business need.
  • The willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment on high-value, technically complex products/projects.
  • The right to work in the UK.
