Job Title: Adoption Specialist - Recruitment and Assessment

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Recruitment & Assessment Team as an Adoption Specialist. This is a critical role in supporting the adoption process, from recruitment and assessment of prospective adopters to linking and matching approved adopters with children.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the adoption process, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a team.

About the Role:

  • Recruit, prepare, and assess prospective adopters.
  • Link and match approved adopters with children.
  • Support prospective adopters throughout the adoption process.
  • Prepare reports for adoption panels and courts.

Requirements:

  • Social Work qualification (degree or equivalent) and current registration with Social Work England.
  • A minimum of two years' experience within a childcare team, including safeguarding.
  • Ability to analyse complex information and make informed decisions.
  • Strong IT skills, including case management systems.

Salary Range: £38,626 - £40,476 per annum based on location in Wiltshire.
