As a Reviewing Officer at Entrust Social Care Ltd in Bedfordshire, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of children under close supervision of a supportive Team Manager. We are looking for an experienced and qualified social worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK post-qualifying social work experience within a children's social work team.

The successful candidate must hold a DipSW or equivalent, be registered with the HCPC, and have a current CRB check. This is a temporary contract for 3 months, working 37 hours per week. The salary for this role is negotiable dependent on experience, but we estimate it to be around £28-£38 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultancy and advice in line with legislation and best practice guidance to staff within Children’s Services and other agencies.
  • Undertake initial evaluations of all allegations reported, and advise on future management of all concerns and allegations.
  • Effectively chair child protection conferences and develop robust plans for children and young people which keep them safe, reduce risk and promote better outcomes.
  • Monitor thresholds for child protection conferences and make recommendations about when a conference is required.
