We are a team of 10 experienced vets running a busy 24-hour clinic in Bury St Edmunds. Our clinic provides out-of-hours care for the local area and has multiple certificate holders, allowing us to accept referrals in imaging, orthopaedics, cardiology, and critical care.
We believe in delivering the highest quality of patient and client care, with access to top-of-the-range equipment, including ultrasound and x-ray machines, a CT scanner, video endoscopy, ventilators, and dental radiography.
Our dedicated nursing team has multiple postgraduate qualifications and advanced nursing certificates, providing exceptional support to our vets.
We have a loyal client base, many of whom have been with us for years. Our clients are passionate about their pets and willing to invest in high-quality care.
Our caseload is diverse and exciting, with a mix of complex medical cases and routine procedures. We offer a flexible working schedule, with options for a 4-day or 5-day week, and a weekend rota with time off in lieu.
We prioritize clinical freedom, allowing our vets to manage cases as they see fit. We have regular clinical discussions and vet meetings to ensure we're using everyone's knowledge and skills to their best advantage.
We offer a competitive salary, 25 days' annual leave, increasing to 30 days plus bank holidays, and a 4-week paid sabbatical after 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years' service.
We're committed to ongoing professional development, with CPD allowances and private healthcare. We also offer enhanced maternity and paternity leave, paid emergency and compassionate leave, and three weeks' occupational sickness leave.
Our colleague discount scheme provides benefits for up to five registered pets, and we offer free eye test vouchers and money towards glasses for VDU users.
