Job Summary

A Senior Project Controller is a key role that interfaces with various stakeholders across the business, primarily with Project Managers and Control Account Managers.

In this position, you will:

  • Support assigned Project Managers to promote good planning practice and ensure scope, schedule & budget adherence.
  • Monitor, report & flag concerns, exceptions and issues through recognised escalation routes, along with proposed solutions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating and maintaining project schedules using Microsoft Project, and effectively managing and reporting progress on a project.
  • Having a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Creating, maintaining and reporting risks using a risk management tool.
  • Experience working in a controlled project environment, supporting a portfolio of projects of medium to high complexity.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A strong understanding of project planning and control principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
