Job Title: Verification Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Verification Specialist to join our team at IC Resources. The successful candidate will play a key role in the verification of hardware, specifically focusing on security features utilising CHERI technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the design team to understand and define verification requirements for security features
  • Develop and maintain verification plans, testbenches, and test scenarios using UVM methodology
  • Execute test plans and verify the correctness of hardware security features
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation meets design specifications and security requirements
  • Identify and debug issues found during verification and work to resolve them in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of hardware verification methodologies and tools
  • Experience with UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) for FPGA/ASIC verification
  • Familiarity with security features and protocols, such as CHERI, is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of UK working rights

Day-to-Day:

  • Collaborate with the design team to understand and define verification requirements
  • Develop and maintain verification plans, testbenches, and test scenarios
  • Execute test plans and verify the correctness of hardware security features
  • Identify and debug issues found during verification and work to resolve them in a timely manner
  • Communicate progress and findings to cross-functional teams
