The Job

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall quality and efficiency of our hotel's facilities, including performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to guest repair requests, and communicating effectively with colleagues and guests.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment
• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests/customers to resolve issues
• Develop and implement strategies to improve facility operations and reduce costs

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical, electrical engineering) or equivalent experience
• Possession of a valid driver's license
• Basic knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a generous paid time off policy.
