Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Quarry Operative to join our team at Heidelberg Materials Dagenham. As a Quarry Operative, you will be responsible for operating a loading shovel, loading lorries, trains, barges, unloading trains, operating a dumper, and maintaining general housekeeping while adhering to Heidelberg Materials' health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate mobile plant equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to Company procedures and protocols.
- Operate static plant in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain plant in good order, physically, in accordance with manufacturers' and Heidelberg Materials' recommendations.
- Complete near miss reports as required by Site Management.
- Practice good timekeeping and maintain a clean and tidy work station.
- Ensure visitors sign in and direct them to their meeting, and complete contractor inductions as necessary.

Salary: £13.68 per hour
Must hold a blue card in Front-end loading shovel
Location: Dagenham
Hours: 39.5
