Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to join our stroke ACP team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. The ideal candidate will be an autonomous practitioner responsible for the rapid assessment of patients presenting to the emergency department with stroke symptoms.

Main Responsibilities

Our Stroke ACP will be responsible for triage of all stroke referrals, identifying patients eligible for reperfusion therapies, and facilitating access to these treatments. They will also perform specialist stroke assessments, work autonomously to formulate clinical management plans, and participate in active research trials and audit programmes.

Requirements

  • Substantial post-registration relevant experience
  • Current Professional registration within the area of practice
  • NHSS qualification
  • Post-registration qualification or training relevant to speciality
  • Evidence of teaching, supervision, and assessment skills
