About the Role

Schoen Clinic UK is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our qualified Occupational Therapists in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to implement and monitor assessments and outcome measures, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Assist in running group sessions and one-on-one meetings, providing support and guidance to patients as instructed by the Occupational Therapist.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, working closely with the Occupational Therapist to ensure patient needs are met.
  • Support patients in accessing the local community for recreational and therapeutic activities, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Perform administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records and reports as required.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, Occupational Therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices, with a strong understanding of patient-centered care.
