About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Technology Risk and Controls Professional to join our team at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX), a leading global exchange group.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive compliance and risk reduction initiatives across the Firm using Governance Risk and Compliance tool sets.
  2. Maintain and mature 1LoD technology Risk and Controls processes.
  3. Perform controls analysis and testing, and provide best practice recommendations.
  4. Drive risk management activities, including analysis, identification, and oversight.
  5. Lead internal and external audits and support regulatory initiatives.
  6. Manage Exceptions against policies and standards.
  7. Support the team in line with the Process Risk and Control service catalogue.

Requirements:

  1. University degree in Information/Cyber Security or related field/equivalent compliance experience.
  2. Experience of working in regulated markets or financial services.
  3. Preferred background in 1st LoD Line Risk & Control roles or IT/Cyber Architecture.
  4. Strong analytical thinker capable of generating and presenting IT technology risks & Controls to non-technical audiences.
  5. Risk Management/Audit Oversight.
  6. Stakeholder management across multiple business functions working with all lines of defence teams.
  7. Proactive and able to balance multiple projects to deliver timely effective solutions.
