Financial Director

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team at 911 Staffing Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial information.

About the Role:

The Financial Controller will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. You will also be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Manage the company's cash flow and monitor financial performance against budget.
• Provide financial guidance and advice to department heads and other stakeholders across the business.
• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of tax returns and compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, with a strong background in finance and accounting.
• A degree in accounting or finance, or a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience is desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

What We Offer:

• Salary up to £55K, depending on experience.
• Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm (can be a little flexible on hours).
• Company based in Cricklade area of Swindon.
