Job Specification:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physics Educator to join our team at North Lanarkshire Council.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality Physics education to secondary school students, ensuring they meet curriculum requirements and achieve academic excellence.

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance student learning experiences.

Maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment, fostering positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

Requirements:

Hold a relevant teaching qualification and possess a strong understanding of Physics curriculum requirements.

Have experience in teaching Physics to secondary school students and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Meet the requirements of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and have the approval of the Roman Catholic Church, as per Section 21(2A) of the Education (Scotland) Act.
