CV Technical, a market-leading company, is seeking a highly motivated Development Engineer to join our team in Rutland. Reporting directly to the Factory Manager, this role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Development Engineer with a strong background in electrical bias systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing and assisting in development and engineering projects, providing second-line support to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Assist in managing engineering projects from inception through to completion, including writing equipment specifications and implementing project management.
- Maintenance and Commissioning: Install and commission new pieces of equipment, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to all aspects of Health and Safety regulations, including contractor management.
Requirements:
- A good working knowledge of PLC and servo drive/control systems.
- IT literacy with competency in CAD, ideally 2D AutoCAD.
- Experience in installing and commissioning new equipment.
- Strong understanding of electrical bias systems and their applications.
