Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter Turner to work within our Technical Engineering Branch (TEB), supporting the development and maintenance of military vehicles.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex engineering equipment, including 5-axis CNC mills and lathes, while ensuring high standards of quality control and health and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Perform precision machining operations on metal components
- Conduct regular maintenance and repair of engineering equipment
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project objectives
- Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Proven experience working with CNC machinery and CAD software
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
