Physiology Department Head

Job Description

The Principal Cardiac Physiologist will play a key role in the delivery of high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. They will be responsible for managing the cardiac cath lab and supporting the development of the elective cardiology service at the Duchy Hospital.

About the Role

1. The Principal Cardiac Physiologist will have daily management responsibilities for the Cardiology Service, including managing capacity and demand, and dealing with patient issues.
2. They will support the non-clinical support staff in booking and arranging appointments, managing stock, and dealing with Consultant queries.
3. The role will also involve participating in the provision of the full range of cardiac procedures undertaken within the outpatient setting.
