Are you a Chartered Engineer with extensive experience in designing electrical systems for buildings? Do you have a strong passion for sustainability and a desire to take on leadership roles?

We are seeking an Electrical Systems Lead to join our team at Pertemps TM. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of drawings in 2D and 3D design using AutoCAD/Revit, engaging with design teams and clients during the design phase of projects, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the production of drawings in 2D and 3D design using AutoCAD/Revit
  • Engage with design teams and clients during the design phase of projects
  • Co-ordinate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Financial management of projects
  • Monitor progress and take a leading role of contact between client and team
  • Manage a team and win new work

Requirements:

  • Chartered engineer
  • A minimum 10+ years' experience in designing electrical systems for buildings
  • A relevant degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong client skills
  • Projects with a view to increasing management and leadership responsibilities
  • Skilled in software such as Amtech, AutoCAD, Revit, IES or Dialux
  • Interest in responding to the climate emergency
