About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to join our urology specialty team as an Administrative Support Professional. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent administrative support and is looking for a new challenge.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide comprehensive secretarial and administration services to the Specialty team, Service Managers, Senior Medical Staff, and their teams.
* Create letters and typing of clinical letters from dictation.
* Be the crucial point of contact for patients and care providers.
* Provide administration and secretarial support to the speciality.
* Responsible for all aspects of a named clinician's administration.
* Daily use of Microsoft office packages.
* Organise and attend meetings when required.
* Ability to take minutes for meetings.
* Checking and updating patient information e.g. results and discharges.

**Requirements:**
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent to include Maths and English language.
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in business admin.
* ECDL or recognised typing qualification or relevant experience.
* OCR/RSA Level 3 or ability to type 60 words per minute.
* Audio typing equivalent qualification or experience.
* Previous administration and/or clerical experience.
* Audio typing experience or relevant IT skills and experience.
* Experience of working with a digital dictating system.
* Previous secretarial experience.
* Knowledge of data protection and the requirement for confidentiality.
* Evidence of clear communication skills, with the ability to use tact and diplomacy at all times.
* Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office 365 packages.
* Proficiency in English Language.
* Able to work following instruction and procedures.
* Ability to work as part of a team and be a supportive team member.
* Accuracy and attention to detail.
* Knowledge and use of medical terminology.
* Knowledge of the Lorenzo computer system.
* Awareness of H&S issues.
* Self-motivated.
* Co-operative, flexible, enthusiastic, approachable, and friendly.
* Willingness to adopt new working practices as and when necessary.
* Clear understanding of patient confidentiality.
* Willingness to self-develop.

**Estimated Salary:** £24,071 - £25,674 Per annum.
