Job Title: Primary School SEN Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Support Worker to join our team at a primary school in Lewisham. As a key member of our support staff, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children with special educational needs.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children with sensory needs and a solid understanding of early years education. Familiarity with Attention Autism approaches is highly desirable. A compassionate and proactive individual committed to supporting children with additional needs will thrive in this role.

As an SEN Support Worker, you will provide 1:1 support to a child in the nursery with sensory needs. You will implement techniques from Attention Autism to support engagement and learning, assist with personal care as part of the daily routine, and work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure the child's needs are met. You will create a nurturing and inclusive environment for early development.

Our ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience working with sensory needs
  • A solid understanding of early years education
  • Familiarity with Attention Autism approaches (desirable)
