Supply Chain Director

Job Summary:
Exertis (UK) Ltd. is seeking a Supply Chain Director to lead our supply chain operations.
About the Job:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing handover and support of current cost-down initiatives.
- You will engage with key suppliers for regular reviews and contractual commitment.
- Support the commercial team in developing balanced product value.
- Liaise with the buying community across DCC Vital.
- Provide tactical support for new product introductions.
- Lead addition of new products via systematic controls and procedures.
- Introduce and drive S&OP process to manage PO demands and commitment.
- Bring new expertise and process to the current knowledge of the Division.
- Understand DCC Vital value stream needs and supplier strategies.
- Develop and communicate initiatives to improve cost performance and added value.
- Work closely with leadership and stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment.
- Use effective influencing skills to manage key projects/initiatives.
- Present improvement activities and issue status at an executive level.
- Develop leading KPI metrics to drive improvements and waste reduction.
- Be accountable for facilitating problem resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the supply chain team.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor and report on supply chain performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in supply chain management.
- Experience in medical device industry or similar.
- Experience of Quality & ISO Systems including ISO 13485.
- Excellent computer literacy.
- Proven verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to create a positive impact and convey confidence and credibility.
- Establish and maintain good working and interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to make decisions with confidence.
- Ability to produce results, prioritise objectives & schedule work.
Salary: £65,000 - £90,000 per annum plus benefits. This is a full-time, permanent role with availability to work beyond normal office hours and international travel as required. We estimate the salary based on the location and industry standards.
